Mike Odom

Michael Odom has more than fifteen years of experience providing marketing, public relations and event planning services for clients within the nonprofit, healthcare, hospitality and retail sectors.  With his strategic planning background, Odom has coordinated numerous community-wide programs and events, having worked with a variety of philanthropic organizations throughout metro Detroit.

His extensive work history within the Hispanic community has helped him establish lasting relationships among local Hispanic business leaders in both the private and public sectors.  A longtime advocate and former resident of Southwest Detroit, Odom has supported numerous area organizations through the years and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Southwest Detroit Business Association.

Prior to joining Marx Layne & Company, Odom served as a project manager for a local nonprofit organization where his community outreach and HIV prevention education programs targeting at-risk communities received local, regional and national recognition.
