We’re excited to kick off our first After WERK of 2026 in a brand-new location—east side style! Join us on Thursday, February 5, from 5–7 PM at O’Flaherty’s Pub for an evening of connection, conversation, and community.
After WERK is a signature networking series hosted by the Detroit Regional LGBT Chamber of Commerce, created to bring together LGBTQ professionals, business owners, and allies in a relaxed, social setting. With no formal presentations or rigid agendas, After WERK centers authentic connection—making space to build relationships, share experiences, and strengthen community at the end of the workday.
Hosted at welcoming neighborhood venues, After WERK also highlights and supports local businesses while increasing visibility for LGBTQ-owned and allied companies across the region. Whether you’re new to the Chamber or a longtime member, attendees are encouraged to come as they are, grab a drink, and connect organically with people from a wide range of industries and backgrounds.
Each event features a casual vibe, light refreshments, and plenty of time to mingle. It’s an easy, accessible way to expand your professional circle, reconnect with familiar faces, or simply unwind in an inclusive environment.
